The lateral snowploughs in this range consist of two clearing blades with release mechanism. This helps, in particular, when clearing hard, icy snow coverings. Damage to the clearing device, the vehicle and the road is thus avoided. This increases the service life of the Springer lateral snowplough.
The folding mechanism of the clearing blade is controlled by tension springs. This makes it possible for the plough to fold up when it encounters obstacles. Then the blades are moved gently back into clearing position with the tension springs. The clearing process can proceed smoothly without interruption.
